Oh wow, that sounds like it could be fun ;-)
A lovely sunny day and I have the windows and doors open and enjoy the morning sun, busy going through my wardrobe and thinking, what can I wear! Some of the male readers cringing, yes that’s a typical girl thought, when she has a wardrobe full of clothes.
Turning around I see I have a visitor sitting on the pillow of the spare bed.
Many insects in this order produce sound (known as a "stridulation") by rubbing their wings against each other or their legs, the wings or legs containing rows of corrugated bumps. The tympanum or ear is located in the front tibia in crickets, mole crickets, and katydids. These organisms use vibrations to locate other individuals. [Farlex]
Stridulatio: This behaviour is mostly associated with insects, but other animals are known to do this as well, oh wow that sounds like it could be fun.
