The Acknowledgements made me chuckle with laughter, " I suppose Christopher and I should thank (through gritted teeth) the many and varied builders in Greece who've been driving us mad, one way or another , for the past four years"This simple sentence told me that I was going to have much empathy with the authors humour! and knew that it was going to be an excellent read right from the start.
